Our story
How Kaná Labs began
Kaná Labs grew from an observation by Jenny Robayo and José Salazar about a widening gap: while the world moved forward with Artificial Intelligence, thousands of professionals, older adults, and workplace teams were being left behind, intimidated by complex jargon, unaddressed risks (security, misinformation, bias...) or training that moved too quickly and lacked a human touch.
Inspired by the historic transformation at the wedding at Cana -where ordinary water became the finest wine- we decided that our purpose would be to turn complex knowledge into an accessible tool for every person and organization.

Founders
Jenny Robayo Gómez
Co-founder and AI adoption and education specialist
An educator, computer engineer, and artificial intelligence consultant with 14 years of experience at the intersection of education, technology, and design. She has led academic and technology teams and supported companies, universities, and leaders in designing training programs, facilitating learning, and creating pathways for the practical, responsible, and sustainable adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Her approach combines leadership, pedagogy, experience design, instructional design, and technical expertise to turn complex topics into clear experiences and practical solutions.
At Kaná Labs, she leads the design of courses and services that help individuals and organizations adopt AI with confidence, sound judgement, and purpose.

José Salazar Pedroza
Co-founder and AI development specialist
A software engineer and full-stack developer specializing in artificial intelligence, with more than ten years of experience in application development, systems architecture, process automation, and cloud technology solutions.
He has experience building products from end to end, from architecture design and frontend and backend development to integrating APIs, cloud services, and artificial intelligence. His approach combines software engineering, logical thinking, and product vision to turn complex needs into functional, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
At Kaná Labs, he leads the development of applications, automations, and AI-powered solutions. He also helps design the courses, bringing a technical perspective on how artificial intelligence works, its capabilities, limitations, risks, security, and responsible use.
